In an Emergency, the Network is required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to:

• Work with Federal, State and local government agencies as needed to assist with
patient safety and ensure dialysis facilities are prioritized to be open,
• Assist with, track and report patient access to treatment, and
• Report and publish the status of facility operations during emergency events.
